Grimmsly? That could maybe work as a name. If he's part of a cult I guess his cult-mates would call him "Brother Grimmsly" so it's kind of a play on the brothers grimm.

I'd say it's stylistic, like the opening credits for Samurai Jack. Works wonders if you ask me.
