From what I remember yeah it kinda was, he also had the better boss theme imo.
While some might regard Victor Frankenstein's refusal to describe how he animated the monster as a copout I always found it as rather understandable given the context of what had happened to him at that point in the narrative. As far as excuses for not explaining the science in sci-fi go, it was honestly a pretty sound one from a literary standpoint.
God that blurb at the bottom coupled with the array of anguished faces really just pops. I watched the animation of course but is there a comic or story as well?
