Pretty.
Pretty.
I see what you were going for here but it's a bit tooo dark to notice the details. Maybe less dots on the sand and more in the water to represent the night sky's reflection and give better contrast between shore and sea? It's not bad in the slightest just a little ill-defined.
thanks for your critique. this was a pixelsort so the corrupting process is very random. If i had the ability to tell the algorithm to make the water more reflective I would to be honest. But I can totally agree it might be a bit too dark.
I imagine a conversation between them going like this.
"Quit smoking."
"What? No."
"Poor lungs lead to poor combat ability, I will not abide this."
"Yeah well you're from like, what 1500 or something? You abided showering once a week and like, leeches for medicine and you still turned out okay."
"I died before my 35th year."
"Yeah you and most of the human population at the time."
A lot of metal cover art nowadays is all the same. Some super intense edgy stuff that tries to ape the style of what came (and did better) before. It's rare to see something a bit more cartoonish, comforting even. Hopefully other folks are pulled in by what ya did here too when they're looking for their next album to buy. What's the band name, if I might ask?
Aw thanks man!
The name in the back is Zodiac, just a name I use for side projects like music and street art
Part of me wants to like harpies as an interesting mythological creature. But the rest of me remembers what they did to me back in Terraria... (Fortunate Son starts playing)
Feel like there's a bit too much empty space, and the text could've maybe been in a bubble or more stylistic, but the rhyme itself is superb!
the text was done like that on purpose, it was usually like that in classic seuss books. though i probably could've added Guy Am I peering over or something
The twinkle effects are GORGEOUS and the scene itself looks like an old-timey painting, but pixel animated! Wonderful work!
Thank you very much! :)
Kinda reminds me of the KH Heartless.
Good god this is fluffier than an Icelandic Sheep.
Someone pointed out to me that in the gamecube menu you can never get to the 6th side of the cube. It's one of those secrets that's gonna haunt me forever, now.
