Listen I can appreciate the lion-mane Kok's sporting but man's gotta stop skipping leg day. That'll get him killed in an apocalypse. Thick thighs save lives or something like that.

melsnoodles responds:

LMAO YOU CAUGHT HIM
He keeps making the excuse his arms are better for huggin' but we know his lies >:(

It'd be wild if one day there was a sandbox game set in an endless city that randomly generated districts like this.

Kamikaye responds:

I tried several times already but so far haven't suceeded making a prototype. Always some features missing or some super convoluted craziness in the engines I try.

Always liked the visuals of cyberpunk cities having raised areas above the smog even if they cast everything below them in shadow. Thematically it makes sense. The folks on top get to live nice lives, and care not for who they're looming over.

Kamikaye responds:

Yea, I might explore this a bit more. We already see that with skyscrapers, theres just no material to carry platforms like that yet.

Now that college is wrapping up for me I think I'd like to sit down with the rulebook for the tabletop version of Shadowrun. The Harebrained trilogy is great and all, but it'd be nice if me and the boys could make our own stories.

Kamikaye responds:

Yea the Harebraind trilogy comes from books in the universe I think. Theres a lot more to SR than these show !

Reminds me of Kowloon.

Kamikaye responds:

Thats part of the inspiration !

Axl is one of the few Brits I can tolerate.

ArtResident responds:

It's funny how one of the most chill and laidback characters in the whole game is also MAD torturous to play against. Axl's just too lovable!

That a bottle of Jaegermeister he's holding?

Stradomyre responds:

yessirrr

Kinda like the left version more.

TheRailz responds:

Yeah, I'm torn on it. Both are nice looks, I just kinda feel the right is a bit more spunky

Honestly the logic is pretty sound! It's a page of lore but it does more to answer worldbuilding questions like why certain figures aren't dead and why certain creatures are in places they're not native to than... well than most shows nowadays.

It also helps legitimize Sun Wukong as a main character for such a global show. By medieval standards, his adventure was almost global for how far they traveled. Makes sense that all the pantheons would know about him. Does make me wonder if other wandering gods like Dionysus might have similar international status. I can see those two getting along, bringing out the worst in each other.

FluorescenceFuture responds:

Hey, thanks for the feedback! When it comes to the Greek pantheon, I pictured that Wukong would only really get along with Hephaestus, Hestia, Hermes, and Dionysus. He wouldn't really go to one of Dionysus' parties though

Mans over here looking like a bible-accurate angel.

ZeTrystan responds:

Don't give him grandiose ideas HAHA
