The song choice seems a little odd for what looks to be a zombie apocalypse story, lyrics wise.

Honestly... when I listen to the song all I thought about was a zombie apocalypse or society meltdown.
I think it's because there's a similar indie music I heard on a video game... left 4 dead? Not sure
Heavy's voice in this was top notch, and the animation was superb.
I'm happy you liked it : D
Heavy was a lot of fun to voice, and surprisingly easier to do then Demo xD
The sorta stuttered animation style reminds me of the opening animatics for some vintage flash games. Nice.
It's nice you think that! I've been really enjoying this format of animating. :)
Love the designs, and the simplistic animation.
Thanks!
Should've tagged this with Katia or Prequel. It's kinda hard finding fan-stuff for the comic so it's always good to find more of it.
Oops! Forgot to do that. It should be fixed now.
It's a little rough but there's definitely potential.
Your story reminds me of one of my own, too. We had tile floors in my home growing up, and if you stepped on them at certain spots they'd make somewhere between a crunch and a creak of a sound. I wake up and hear one... then another... and more and more and more until I can't write it off or rationalize it anymore. Each one is incremental, 3-5 seconds after the last, as if someone or something was slowly plodding towards me. Crack. Crack. Crack. My hearts pounding, I'm convinced I'm about the be the next urban horror story victim, when I decide to just suck it up and check. I figured if I was screwed I might as well get it over with. I climb out of bed and... nothing. I peer around the halls, in the rooms, behind the furniture and curtains, nothing. I tell my parents, convinced there's a home intruder and...
My dad tells me he was messing with the AC unit for a couple minutes and wound up shifting his weight from one foot to the other while he did it. My face when.
But yeah, cool animation, hope to see more sometime soon.
Thanks for your comment...but..
Damn!
Really now? Well, I sure do love the feeling of relief over something like that.
Also, side note, It is creepy to have thought "I'm about the be the next urban horror story victim"
If that means what I think it means, then I'm disturbed by the concept of myself or someone becoming an urban legend, something about people telling the same story, passed down through generations; and knowing you were the victim in that story is chilling...
The design of the humanoids reminds me of Journey, whilst the monster's appearance, especially the way he rises out of the ground like a pillar at first, are very reminiscent of Aku.
It REMINDS me of all those things yet remains distinct. All in all it's an interesting trailer with some lovely art, and I think it'll turn out great. Though, personally, it comes off more as a game trailer than a show trailer.
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. Samurai Jack is definitely a big inspiration for me!
Ey it's that thing I saw the Fern clip of a while ago! This came out top tier!
Thank you so much! :D
