I still can't get over how fly this guy's hat was years later.
The Broadclub Cuttlefish is actually able to create a hypnotic pattern that looks like it's own little lightshow to mesmerize prey, before lashing out with it's tentacles and slam-dunking crabs/small fish into it's maw not unlike a frog catching a fly. Some amazing youtube footage out there of this.
This piece activated my neurons so I figured I should use some of that brain-power for education.
the cephalopod zooneurology book "other minds" brought that up a fucking LOT bc of the ~complexities of interpreting colour~ i highly recommend it for casual reading (assuming u r as much of a zoology nerd as i am)
fun fact: uhhhhhhhhhhh oh right coleoids will sometimes just produce random flashing colours when theyre relaxed bc they get lost in thought hehehehe
"Psst. Hey kid, wanna buy some souls?"
I get you said not to ask but I just need to know if this is supposed to be a Clone High crossover with Darkstalkers or Count Chokula, I can't tell.
Not a crossover I ever expected, but one that would probably do wonders, aesthetically at least.
The barbed fence is somehow the most disturbing part of the imagery here now that I see it again.
If someone with a scene aesthetic patted the seat beside them and just hung out n' watched shit with me, in this day and age, I could probably die right then and there with no regrets.
i get you man, up top
