I mean if I'm understanding Homestuck's ending right (which could be entirely untrue) Rose and all the other Beta kids are inside whatever the hell the green-black hole thing is. Assuming they didn't come back for a long enough time, with Roxy being immortal because godtier and Kanaya being immortal because vampirism, it's not out of the question to think they could've tried something out.

Well, I will admit in terms of color VARIETY the wings might be a bit much, but as far as the brightness of the feathers I think it's spot on given the creatures name. If it's supposed to be from a tropical region, I'd follow the patterns of the local fauna. Most have 3-4 feather color palettes.
