Really good, but the action bar being animated while the petals sort of just hang there seems a bit off.

That's a fair criticism, I wanted to finish it quick and have it loop, so animating the petals wasn't a a priority. I'm glad you like it though!

I think a little bit of improvement on the linework would knock this up to true perfection, but other than that it's great. The sun has a nice sort of soft cream yellow color to it that's easy on the eyes, and the sort of gassy, miasma looking border between the dark and the light is a nice pattern.
