Honestly most of the r63 of Hellboy seems to look like the artist slapped lipstick and a shaving razor on the original design. This is easily the best rendition I've ever seen, though. Love the aesthetic.

Honestly he is husband material. He's polite, efficient, tough but not showy, and even when he gets shot in the comics and goes pale from blood loss, he still has a rugged look about him.

From what I remember of their dynamic in the show I can't say it'd be the healthiest relationship, but I can't deny they look adorable together the way you've drawn them.
