So my highschool used to play music over the speakers inbetween periods right? So I remember I'm walking through the halls during lunch, and what do I hear but pumped up kicks?

Understandably, I start to panic, and so does everyone else who hears it, because in our heads we're thinking "ah shit any second now that edgy kid from math class is gonna round the corner packing heat."

Apparently, what had happened was they just hit play on one of those spotify playlists, like "early 2000's hits" or whatever and it was one of the ones in there. The poor little librarian lady damn near had a heart attack when four other teachers burst into her room, tackled her from her desk and started slamming at the keyboard to change the track.

So yeah that's how I heard "Pumped up Kicks" at highschool and lived, thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

Beckeroo responds:

oh my god that is priceless. i feel sorry for the moment of panic, but thank i you for sharing 🤣

Beautiful peace but I just can't accept it as Kenshi. Nowhere on that godforsaken hellscape of a planet is anyone this happy and peaceful.

Artbytal responds:

Lol yes I definitely see the best in this world, not everyone has had their limbs hacked off by the beak things

Top right followed by middle-guy.

Question though. If I'm remembering right the top-guys a werewolf right? Assuming that trait got combined into Mr. Middle, how's that work with the robot arm? Like do we not think about it or assume the transformation is extra agonizing on account of the whole shifting skeletal structure and muscles thing?

melsnoodles responds:

I'm surprised that the middle one worked at all! Mixing the appeals there was particularly hard but I'm real happy to know it worked out!

I came into these trying to make em as if they were characters made from scratch but your idea is way too interesting and I absolutely endorse that brand of thinking. Maybe he has to remove it every full moon and it accounts for preparation? Maybe it gets destroyed upon first transformation and it's a symbol for how hard it is to reconcile the beastly inner self with the technology that makes life easier? Love this sort of followin the logic through, it's so stimulating!

Favorite's still the one at the top. Redhead supremacy.

Assuming ENA is just a program on a computer, like that's the lore, I'm guessing in this case someone tried downloading some Bethesda mods.

geoWaffle responds:

He looks like the kind of guy to give his kids haircuts with an army knife to save money.

ZeTrystan responds:

VERY accurate ahahah.

I also like the lineart.

As far as regaining creativity, heavy metal and chiptune music has always helped me.

OneGrumpyLumpy responds:

I'm glad you like it.
Weirdly enough I haven't had the patience for music as of late. It's not regaining creativity that's the issue, it's getting the damn things to look right.

Hellsing vibes.

Red-stain responds:

I get that a lot yes and i do love Hellsing , Soul Eater Dorohedoro and Hellsing are one of my mayor inspirations for the vibes and worldbuilding

I like to think the red highlights are built in laser sights.

MLeth responds:
