Not really sure about what's going on between 1:50 to 2:10 but other than that good song. 4 Viking hat's out of 5.
(Great ending by the way.)

All in all you managed to create something subtle yet elegant, nice. It's a game over song, thus it shouldn't be loud, but it shouldn't be dull and droning either if you expect people to listen to it.

That being said, this might work better as music during a cutscene/story/sad bit? I get since it doubles it's more like a minute and a half but generally people don't hang around for more than a few seconds when they get killed in a game. Half the time they just button mash back to the load or ragequit.

Ruedefaux responds:

yeah, i understand what youre saying.

to me i can see it being used for both a game over screen and like a cutscene of some sort that would happen later. lord knows i only hear the first three seconds of a game over song when i die LOL, so i definitely understand what you mean.

i kind of had the game over theme from the old Kirby and the Crystal Shards game in mind, as that song tends to go on longer than you'd think, and as you said, most people probably didn't get to really hear it cuz no one stuck around long enough to.

Gotta be honest this comes off as kinda… experimental. Every individual bit is good but they're strung together so haphazardly, it'll change from one bit of the song to the next before you've even had more then 10 seconds to get down with the beat. Really damn good but a little all over the place, m8.

Gives me Stranger Things vibes. Good spook.

That is what I am going for thank you! :)

Hot DAAAAAAAAMN there's more energy in this song than an A-Bomb explosion! Tight as hell man!

I guess you could say this song was a real D-lyte. :0)

Like how it starts out with the sort of fairy tale piano then moves on to the retro chip-tune beat. Really nice job m8.

Nice but doesn't really stand out. Chill music doesn't grab attention so much as it resonates with you, hits your frequency. I might just be on the wrong one, but all in all pretty good.

I was considering adding some lazy pop vocals, but I'm still finding my feet with singing, that shit is harrrrrrd. Thanks for the help!

Simple, clean, and fun. Reminds me of the tracks from the Homestuck flash games.

Like a dream that drifted through an arcade. Great to listen to when gaming.

Love that description. Thanks for listening.
