I've got literal thousands of hours in ww2 strategy games and I still don't know what any of this means, but the art is great!

If you feel it's best to slow down, go with your gut. Art is about expression, not the approval of others. That being said, as far as platforms go, I do have a bias towards this one, but again, go with your gut.

For what it's worth, love your work.

Thank you for your comment. I know you mean well but I do have to think about it a bit.

I can tell you that if I had used approval of others as my prime motivation, I would have stopped quite some time ago. Now, however, I do hope to make a living of what I create so it's not something that I can simply put aside. That said, I think/hope that this idea of expression and the idea of approval can be allied.
