Games Workshop tries to make orks scary and menacing again from time to time but honestly I'm glad they've given up on that (for the most part). 40K is cool but it takes itself a little too seriously most of the time. Having the orks as comic relief makes it easier to get into.

I'm just saying, if ya ever made a game where each level or stage or world or whatever is a callback to a retro or pixel game with your artstyle and characters, it'd probably sell pretty well.

that is an interesting idea, but alot of work to pull off. instead of one spritesheet youd be making like...5, just for the player character. and if controls changed too, thats alot of excess coding.
